Shift doesn’t have its own knob, it’s managed via Twin PBT. Yeasu FTDX10 has dedicated Width and Shift knobs, which I prefer. The shift knob on FTDX10 is way too fine, though, if you turn it 90 degrees either side the shift value is some 50-60Hz only, so you need to keep turning that knob a lot.. Hydro cyclone

I like my FTDX10 but don't use all the features and wish it had better ergonomics, and was a bit cheaper. So the 710 sounds good. At least as good as a 7300. It's no hybrid but it is a newer SDR design. Only downside is Icom have superior menus in my opinion. If you compare these radios to Fujifilm cameras, the price is always set very reasonably. 6. Yaesu FTDX10 vs. FTDX1200. I'm considering one of these radios. The FTDX10 I can purchase new, whereas the FTDX1200 I can purchase used. The FDX10 has great reviews for filtering, but has one antenna connection, whereas the FTDX1200 has two (RX input).
