It is defined that a turn of the engine i.e. 360° is completed once in every 5 micro seconds for 12,000 rpm. The injector fuse should be fuse 57 (25 amp - marked with a red box on the photo below) in the left rear engine compartment. It wouldn't hurt to do a quick check on all of the fuses, though. 2004 Cummins Injector Wiring Issues. So this is a post to help out my brother-in-law; he rebuilt the engine completely on his 04 RAM. The only issue he is having now is fuel knock from the injectors. The injectors were tested and cleaned by a reputable shop, and we think the issue is the 3 connectors on the lower valve cover for the injectors.In engine wiring harness, 5 cm from breakout to fuel injector 3. Looking over diagrams in the FSM has helped a bit but im hoping you guys can confirm a few things for me ...The fuel injector outputs drive the fuel injectors to allow measured amounts of fuel into the engine. These signals are on/off control signals that are varied by duty cycle. The more fuel is required the higher the duty cycle will be. The injectors are connected to common positive and the drive signals from the ECU is ground signals.Re: fuel injector wiring. look at the bottom, it has the pin out of the computer and what bank correlates to which pin (by cylinder). some should be obvious enough that you can figure out what what color is what bank and hook up your injectors..
